In this workshop, we are excited to have our 2 alumni speakers:

𝗗𝗿. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford – Alumna Class of 2015

Phuong has worked for 9 years in health science research, focusing on health economics and health systems, at various institutions across Vietnam, Sweden, Zambia, France, Belgium, and the UK. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Oxford (#1 ranking in the world overall and for medicine) and a consultant for various UN agencies and NGOs.

Phuong has received numerous scholarships, including the HRH Prince Andrew Scholarship at BUV (now known as British Ambassador Scholarship), the OPEC Scholarship for her Master’s at Karolinska Institute (top 5 ranking in the world for medicine), and a doctoral scholarship from the Flemish Government at the University of Antwerp. She has been awarded several scholarships and grants for short courses, summer schools, research, internships, and conferences worldwide. Phuong has 21 studies published in Q1-ranked international scientific journals and has contributed to a book.

Cuong has been a winner of the HRH Prince Andrew Scholarship and has 8 years of experience coaching students to achieve their academic goals. He now dedicates his efforts to developing personalized strategies to attain their highest academic achievements. His background as both a scholarship recipient and a coach provide him with a unique and valuable perspective for the workshop’s topic
